Exciting Updates and Warm Welcomes!

As we bid a fond farewell to our cherished team members Jo (Admin team), Kate and Leilana (nurse clinic team), we’re filled with pride and excitement for their new journeys. While their laughter and camaraderie will be dearly missed, we’re thrilled to watch them embark on new adventures and embrace fresh opportunities.

But fear not, for every goodbye brings a hearty welcome! Join us in extending a warm greeting to our newest team members:

Welcome Liza: Let’s give a warm welcome to Liza, our newest addition to the administrative team! With extensive experience and a background from Australia, we’re delighted to have her join our practice.

Introducing Bridget: We’re excited to introduce Bridget as our new practice nurse, bringing her wealth of experience from practice nursing to our team.

Covid Clinic Single Dose Vaccines
We are now stocking single dose vaccines which means that you can book for covid vaccine whenever you are due. We will run some covid clinics in June.
Stay protected and stay informed

Flu Clinic

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of you who joined us in preparing for the flu season by getting your flu vaccinations done. With the conclusion of the flu clinic, if you still need to book your flu vaccination, don’t hesitate to give us a call. Our nurse clinic is ready to schedule your appointment and ensure you’re protected. It’s important to note that in some cases, this vaccination is funded, especially for those aged 65 and above or individuals with respiratory or immunity compromise. Feel free to check with our nurses to see if you qualify for funding, and we’ll make sure you receive the necessary support.

Podiatry Place Relocation

As of May 1st, our podiatrist, Erina, has relocated to 20 Harley Street. We’re grateful for our wonderful partnership and look forward to her continued growth. Please note, if you’re visiting Erina’s new location, do not use Harley Street parking. Refer to her Facebook page for parking instructions at the new location.

Nurses Phone Calls

As of the second quarter of the year, a fee may apply for Nurse phone calls based on the length of your discussion.

Due to a significant increase in both the number and complexity of enquiries we are no longer able to provide all nurse phone consultations free of charge.

For this reason, a fee may apply for your nurse call based on the length of the call. We will keep you informed as we evaluate our nurses’ services and will inform you in advance if there is to be a charge.

Missed Appointments
We have recently updated our Late and Missed Appointment Policy. A full copy is available for you to read at reception. No shows and late cancellations place a significant financial burden on our business and limit access for other patients.
In short, the policy states:

Missed Appointment Fee: Repeated failing to attend scheduled appointments, without 24 hours’ notice, will result in you being charged a normal consult fee (unless unforeseen circumstances are explained).
Cancellation Procedure: If you need to cancel your appointment, we kindly request that you do so via phone rather than email. Please phone our reception team on 03 548 2763 to cancel and reschedule if required. This ensures effective communication and enables us to promptly offer the appointment to another patient who may require our services.

By adhering to these guidelines and giving us timely notice, you not only help us optimise our resources but also contribute to maintaining a high level of care for all patients.

Take care of yourselves.

Thank you for choosing us for your healthcare needs.
