Our team

I grew up in Christchurch and went through Otago medical school. After completing specialist GP training in Tauranga our family moved back to Nelson to become part of Harley Street Medical in 2019.

The most enjoyable aspect about primary care is being part of the community and journeying with the patients. I enjoy all aspects of general practice for the variety and the challenges it brings. My medical practice style is mainstream evidence based best practice medicine.

Further to the standard training I have further expertise in skin cancer medicine and is currently an affiliated provider with Southern Cross. I also have good knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions after doing a diploma in sports and exercise medicine.

I was born in Greece and studied in the UK; Biology at London, PhD in Genetics at Oxford and Medicine at Newcastle.

I found the UK too cold and grey so my husband and I moved to beautiful NZ to enjoy the sun and sea. We also brought our 3 dogs; two border collies from the UK and a mixed breed rescue from Greece- they enjoy the sun and sea too!

I was very fortunate to join the team at Harley Street Medical, which epitomises my love for general practice.

I was born in Christchurch, with a Malaysian ethnic background, grew up in Nelson. I attended Otago Medical School and returned to work in Nelson Hospital as a House Surgeon. For several years I had worked as a GP in a high needs practice in Tauranga.

I have a strong interest in child health and I also enjoy women’s health and family medicine. I love the diversity of general practice and the privilege of working alongside and getting to build relationships with patients and their families.  

My husband and I have 3 young children and I thoroughly enjoy spending time at the beach, walks, swimming and other adventures in this gorgeous city.

Having originally hailed from Auckland, I have spent the past 8 years in Nelson.
I joined Harley St Medical 4 years ago and enjoy being part of a friendly, supportive team.

I thoroughly enjoy seeing the benefits that can come from effective medical care in the field of general practice.
I perform skin checks, minor surgery and joint injections when appropriate.

Outside of work I have a young family with a supportive wife and three boys.
We enjoy getting away and finding a beach when the weather permits. I’m an avid sports fan and always trying to keep tabs on the latest cricket and rugby games.

After 4 years in a variety of House Surgeon / Registrar roles at Nelson Hospital, General Practice is providing a change of pace and a fresh look at medicine from a grassroots perspective. I thoroughly enjoy seeing the transformation that can come from effective medical care working alongside patients to achieve the best possible outcome. It is a rewarding field of medicine to be a part of.

A keen cricketer and outdoors enthusiast, the best weekends are certainly spent out on the water soaking in the salt air and hauling in my quota of whatever the catch is permitting.
